A must when in the Albert Cuyp market. It's one of the stalls there and is well marked, you can't miss it. It was my first time trying a fresh stroopwafel and I don't think I can ever have the prepackaged stuff again 😆 would gladly go back here to have another fresh one though. I tried it with chocolate although just caramel would've been enough. It's warm, it's crispy and the caramel is quite drippy. Delicious 🤤

Hands down the best place for stroopwafels in AMS! The staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always smiling, genuinely enjoying their work. The waffles melt in your mouth, and the best part is, they won't break the bank. A must-try if you're in Amsterdam!

This man was born to Stroopwafel. We were only in Amsterdam one day: my birthday. After finding out about Rudi's stand online and realizing we happened to be there on a day he would be open, we walked 35 minutes in the rain across Amsterdam to come to the market after lunch. It is just a stand at a farmer's market: but it feels like you enter a unique atmosphere. They clearly take great pride in what they do. Rudi was very friendly and great at dealing with the customers; lots of great jokes. When he handed me my stroopwafel he told me I deserved it after a hard year: it really has been a hard year. It felt so genuine, and on my birthday, I really appreciated it. And the wafel. So good. Nothing compares honestly. It was unbelievable. Warm, flavourful, gooey, fresh. I can't even describe. We bought to-go packs and have been referring to them as "gold" in conversation (i.e "did you pack the gold safely?). No one even questioned it. If you are in Amsterdam, you must go. I promise it is worth it. Incredible experience I won't forget.

First of all, the waffle did not disappoint, it was amazing! Secondly, the owner/ cook was friendly and made us waffles right there and then. If you're ever in the neighborhood, I'd highly recommend this place!
